The domain name MichelleObama.com was auctioned off at the GoDaddy TDNAM recently, but little was known about the seller, whose info was undisclosed.
Forty-eight hours after the transaction ended, a livid First Lady came forward as the actual seller, announcing the following:
“I tried to sell the domain on GoDaddy, they were slow like one of these kids that don’t partake in my health through exercise initiative! I told Barack, we have to sell all such unnecessary assets now that his second presidential term is half way through, and raise some capital for Malia and Sasha’s college funds!”
Michelle Obama‘s attempt to monetize her .com by selling it on GoDaddy was sabotaged by shill bidders and non-paying buyers. The First Lady is now switching to EscrowHill.com, a reputable escrow with decades of professional experience among its founding officers.
“Mrs. Obama is welcome to sell the domain MichelleObama.com exclusively through our escrow,” said Andee Hill, CEO and co-founder of EscrowHill.com.
“Our core business is based on experience, knowledge of the domain market and a strong commitment to perform our part of the task expeditiously, for the benefit of both the domain buyer and the domain seller,” added Andee Hill, smiling.
The MichelleObama.com sale through EscrowHill will be featured in prestigious political publications next week, to raise awareness about its availability. Prominent Democrats and Republicans are expected to show interest and become involved.
