The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, announced yet another epic domain sale: LUV.com was just sold for $1.4 million dollars in cash.
But that’s not all.
Rick’s genius in negotiating a bonus payment plan schedules the following bonus earnings from the buyer over the course of 3 years:
- $200,000 dollars for $6 million in revenue
- $300,000 dollars for $7 million in revenue
- $350,000 dollars for $8 million in revenue
It’s not clear who is the buyer of the domain name LUV.com, or if the bonus is per annum or for the entire 3 years. Either way, this is a great sale of an aged LLL .com domain name.
Two years ago, Rick Schwartz had announced the sale of a three letter .com domain name for $5 million. At the time, we speculated it’d be either ASS.com or LUV.com.
Rick still owns that piece of domain ASS. 😀
