Sedo : No more “one click” landers for its PPC pages

Sedo – No more single click landers.

Sedo announced that as of May 1st, there will be no more “1 click” landers available as a PPC setting.

It appears that Google, the main upstream provider for advertisements, no longer supports this type of feed.

Most likely a measure that Google has taken to thwart click fraud, this means that while CTR might decrease, earnings should increase.

Says the announcement by Sedo:

Customers affected by this change don’t need to do anything – we will automatically adjust your parked domains to the “Automatic” lander type.

Currently, Sedo offers two lander options to select from:

  • Automatic: our system selects the best setting for you
  • Portal: Site visitors see a set of related links on general topics

We recommend parking customers to set their lander type to “automatic”. With this option our system automatically searches for the lander type with the best performance and the highest revenue generation. It’s that easy!
