Former president, Donald Trump, has rolled out a new social media platform, TRUTH Social.
Operating from the matching .com domain, TruthSocial.com, the platform is currently in pre-beta, soliciting sign ups. So far, there is no visible box for donations, but knowing the appeal Donald Trump has on his fan base that might happen soon.
It will be a part of a new publicly-traded company named “Trump Media and Technology Group.”
The company says its mission is to “create a rival to the liberal media consortium and fight back against the ‘Big Tech’ companies of Silicon Valley.“
In other words, TRUTH Social will be providing an alternate reality, in line with the crazy four years America endured under Trump’s failed presidency.
Registered in 2011, the domain TruthSocial.com was sold by HugeDomains (HD) on or around June 15, 2021; there is no information about how much money Donald Trump’s campaign operators paid to acquire it. No, it’s not registered with conservative sweethearts Epik but rather, at Tucows.
Meanwhile, some enterprising Indian registered UnTruthSocial.com. 😀
