Francois offers discounts for sponsored Domaining.com posts

It’s the sale of the century – or as they say in France, la vente du siècle.

Ok, so we used Google Translate for this one, but you won’t need a dictionary to place an order with Domaining.com

Francois offers a huge discount for pre-purchased sponsored posts!

Instead of paying $150 per post, you can buy 10 spots for $1,000 and use them whenever you want.

“Buy 10 sponsored headlines for $1,000 (normal cost is $1,500). And use them at will at anytime. Offer valid while this sponsored headline is up. Don’t wait and spend money now to save IRS.

That’s a great discount, and it comes with a loaf of French bread loaded with cheese, ham and a bottle of French red wine.

(We made that last part up).

Wasn’t the price $100 until it got jacked up 50% months ago to the $150. Has the Domaining.com traffic increased 50% to justify the price increase?

Jim – I think the price of a gallon of milk was $2.50 last year but now it’s $3.50 – I don’t think the taste of milk changed 😀

Agreed – but you can argue that the price to produce milk and/or the demand for milk has increased. I don’t think hosting prices have gone up (which should be Domaining’s biggest cost I’d guess). Thinking back to last year the number of advertised spots was much higher than this year. I remember times there would be 7 or 8 sponsored posts at once. This year the land of the sponsored post is much more of a barren desert. For $100 I threw a post one there once or twice last year, for $150 I’d rather spend it on other advertising that I feel offers a better ROI. Anywho, I diverged a bit, sorry ’bout that.

    Jim,

It was already $100 when we had less than 1,000 members in our newsletter, we have now 10 times more newsletter members so do you think I should charge $1,000 for a 24H headline?
In a second thought maybe you will find $150 is finally very reasonable.

    Thanks for the post.
