In January, during NamesCon, the Chinese domain registrar CNNIC proudly announced that .CN is the largest ccTLD in the world.
At the time, more than 14 million .CN domains were “in circulation,” having surpassed Germany’s .DE registrations.
The number is considerably higher now, as the domain market and investment in .CN domains has exploded.
According to the official statistics, there are now 19,364,064 .CN domains as of May 2016.
The number includes 14,200,819 .CN domains, 2,550,917 .com.CN domains, 996,905 .net.CN domains and 396,040 .org.CN domains.
In today’s Chinese domain market report, we begin with a massive list of short (2-4 characters) .CN domains that have changed hands in China during the past 24 hours.
The majority of them are “Chinese premiums” (Chips).

As always, we keep track of short domain sales that took place in China, in the .CN, .COM, and .NET TLDs, focusing on short domains between 2 to 4 characters.
I have a few .cn you can still reg some good pinyin there, I have jinxinwen.cn less than a year, it means goldnews. Try getting generic phrases!
