Frank Schilling is not a man who’d sit on his numerous laurels.
After a change of plans regarding the launch of his Schilling-1 cosmonaut rocket, the Canadian uber-domainer is aiming to conquer the depths of the known cosmos, here on earth.
The Kubahatsi Creek in the Caymans, where Frankie resides, is the deepest known underwater point in the world’s oceans, deeper than the Mariana Trench by 11.25 feet.
“I want to feel solace, experience a complete isolation from domaining, domains and money,” said Frank Schilling during a test dive of Buckaroo-1, the specially designed undewater vehicle that he will pilot solo.
“Who knows, I might discover a new civilization of crustaceans that I can convey my human message to, or perhaps an unknown species of one-eyed sardines. We need to know what’s down there,” said a very excited Frank.
The Buckaroo-1 was financed with funds from the recent sale of CDN.net and it contains modern equipment to safely descent into the depths of the Kubahatsi Creek and back again, right in the back yard of Frank’s condo by the Cayman beach.
The entire deep water expedition by Frank Schilling will be planned over the course of the coming months, to coincide with Chef Patrick’s DNCruise 2012.
