The Domain King, Rick Schwartz, is not part of the bored ape crowd or the NFT posse.
You can tell who the king is by glancing at his Twitter avatar that has not been switched to a “bored ape” image. Standing out among the crowd is what Rick does best, and today he shared another tidbit of wisdom.
Rick believes that non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are a fad, and that punks and apes lack power. At the same time, Rick points out that the ultimate asset to possess is one’s own first name as a .com:
Of all the valuable and important assets in the world I believe the greatest asset one can have is their first name .com. That’s power. That’s a statement. That’s bigger and better than any NFT like punks or apes. Cool fads, not powerful.
We agree with Rick here, owning a first name .com is one thing, owning one’s OWN .com is another. But even James Booth sold James.com when the price offered was right!
As a side-note, Rick Schwartz does not seem to own either Rick.com or Richard.com, settling for Rick.TV instead.
Or is there something in the works? 😀

I bought meiling.wang some time ago. I love game item NFT. I think someday soon, every computer game is going to include NFT game items.
