DomainGang quoted by Cloud.com and Citrix as “Best News All Day!”

Once in a while it’s good to do a little self-patting on the back.

After all, in September, DomainGang will be clocking two years in existence; back then an unexpected newcomer in the domain industry.

Parody is a key element of our creative writing.

While it might not be understood by everyone – we still get complaints from confused anonymous people in the Midwest, using proxies – the core of our readership appreciates a good laugh or two and is actually driven by our passion to join domaining with other aspects of life, such as technology and society.

In a great example, our parody story of the Rolling Stones suing the Cloud.com owners, desiring to “milk” $2.5 billion dollars out of a supposed song infringement, was perceived well by the very two parties that engaged in a $200+ million dollar transaction: Citrix and Cloud.com

Peder Ulander, Chief Marketing Officer for Cloud.com tweeted about our story with “Best story on the news today“, while the Citrix PR team did the same, stating “Best faux news all day“.

It is refreshing to witness creative and marketing teams of corporations being visibly open-minded and understanding of the use of humor to deliver current events.

The reference of both Cloud.com and Citrix to our humble publication is definitely rewarding and in direct support of our effort to provide domainers with quality, fun content.

Thank you guys 😀
