The sale has been brokered by, on behalf of a Chinese client, as the domain’s WHOIS shows.

According to our sources, the domain owner’s asking price of $1.2 million dollars was not met; the sale closed at below $500,000 dollars. Prices for LL .com domains in the aftermarket have been steadily dropping in the past 12 months. was met with controversy early on, as NamePros users questioned the legitimacy of the seller’s identity. Once that was confirmed, the domain was auctioned off at NameJet but failed to meet reserve.
