Yoyo Email Ltd. has been bouncing its UDRP record to new highs, with a 7th UDRP in 2 months’ time.
Having registered 4,000 dot .email domains that are mostly linked to trademarks and brands, the rain of UDRPs against the British company has turned into a storm.
The situation is so bad, that panelists at the WIPO are now lumping cases together, delivering bulk decisions for different Complainants.
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”), National Westminster Bank plc of London, UK and Coutts & Co. of London, UK, represented by CSC Digital Brand Services AB, Sweden – all had a bone to pick with Yoyo Email Ltd.
The domains in question: coutts.email, natwest.email, rbsbank.email and rbs.email – all registered at GoDaddy.
As they did in the past, Yoyo Email Ltd. responded – why do they bother – and their claims of running an established business using corporate trademarks are truly hilarious.
