A few days ago we posted about the record-breaking domain name Copy.com that was sent to auction on NameJet.
A total of 615 auction participants – a new NameJet record – sent the final selling price to $101,300.
Our poll showed that 62% of voters guessed correctly, that the domain would sell for more than $100,000.
While some believe the price was too low for a domain of this caliber, we have to mention that such domains should not be auctioned with domainers in mind but rather brokered to large corporations related to the keyword or function of the particular domain.
